Agricultural workers

Agricultural workers and food producers are critical to national infrastructure. During this national emergency the need has never been greater to keep businesses operating and producing food. That includes businesses which support that activity.

To facilitate this, platforms have been created to help employers recruit workers with relevant skills, experience and individuals looking for work – and also to help students and individuals find suitable opportunities in the rural economy.

For businesses looking for potential employees with relevant skills and experience, Lantra Scotland has created a Skills Matching Service. They filter applicants by matching up their key skills with those required by the businesses. Employers can complete a vacancy request form to state what support they are looking for.

If you’re looking to recruit a large number of key seasonal or unskilled workers, contact NFUS or register with Our Skillsforce Job Hub for employers.

For potential employees looking for work, you can complete the application form created by Lantra Scotland to be matched with a business.

My World of Work has created a dedicated page for COVID-19 vacancies for individuals looking for work.
