European Commission payments to Scottish rural businesses released

Each year we are legally required to publish details of payments made to Scottish rural beneficiaries
(businesses) under the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).

This ensures compliance with EU Regulation No. 1306/2013 and Commission Regulation No. 908/2014 which require EU Member States to publish details of recipients of CAP subsidy payments on a single Member State website.

On the UK website, you will find details of amounts received by Scottish beneficiaries under the CAP during the EU financial years of –

  • 16 October 2014 to 15 October 2015
  • 16 October 2015 to 15 October 2016

These figures do not include payments made after 15 October 2016. As in previous years, no figures are available for some schemes including the 2016 Basic Payment Scheme. These figures also don’t include any payments under the Loan Schemes that we have operated in the last 2 years.

If you have any questions relating to a Scottish rural business and the Q&A section on the above website doesn’t help you, please email your query to rpidpaymentenquiries@gov.scot. We will respond within 3 working days. However, the Data Protection Act 1998 may limit what we can disclose to you.
