Rural Payments and Services

Inspectors from RPID Area Offices will shortly recommence suspended on farm/croft inspections. These inspections will involve verification for regulatory requirements, payments as well as traceability and identification of livestock.

As a result of COVID-19, inspectors will continue to contact all farmers and crofters ahead of visiting to ensure discussion on changes to inspection processes along with any concerns raised. Changes have been made to protect both the businesses being inspected and inspectors, including significantly reducing the time on farm.
