Rural Payments and Services

Inspectors from RPID Area Offices will shortly commence on farm inspections for land and certain aspects of cross compliance. These inspections are part of our verification process for 2020 Pillar 1 and Pillar 2 payments.

As a result of COVID-19, inspectors will contact all farmers and crofters ahead of visiting to inform of changes to inspection processes, and to answer any concerns raised. Changes have been made to protect both the businesses being inspected and inspectors safety, such as significantly reduced time on farm.
