Future Farming Investment Scheme 2025 - Evidence Submission Deadline Extended

The deadline for all Future Farming Investment Scheme (FFIS) 2025 grant recipients to complete their approved capital investments by purchasing them in full, taking delivery, installing them where required, having them in situ and operation on their farm or croft, and submitting the required evidence, has been extended until 23:59 on 30 September 2026.

This replaces the deadline shown in each recipient’s Offer of Grant. Recipients do not need to request an extension, and their deadline will be updated automatically.

As the deadline has been extended, holds will be placed on payments due under other agricultural support schemes until the required FFIS evidence has been submitted, assessed and SGRPID has confirmed that the conditions of the grant have been met.

Recipients are encouraged to submit their evidence as soon as their approved investments are complete and not wait until the extended deadline. Early submission will allow evidence to be assessed, and payment holds to be removed as soon as possible.

Evidence must be submitted through the Manage Applications and Claims Portal

Recipients will need their existing Rural Payments and Services username and password.

If a recipient no longer intends to purchase or complete any investment included in their Offer of Grant, they should contact FFIS@gov.scot as soon as possible. Grant funding paid for investments that will not be completed will need to be repaid.

Recipients experiencing difficulties accessing the portal or submitting evidence should also contact FFIS@gov.scot and should not wait until the deadline.
