Rural Payments and Services

This year’s June census will be online soon and can be accessed using the Rural Payments and Services website.

We are currently in the final stages of testing the site, which should be available by the end of June. As there has been a delay in getting the site up and running, customers will be given extra time to complete this.

We will post an alert on Rural Payments and Services once the census is ready. An email will also be sent to customers.

However, if individual customers would like an agent to complete the census online, they will need to set up a mandate for that agent.

To mandate an agent:

1. The Responsible Person must log on to the website www.ruralpayments.org

2. Select Delegates from the top menu

3. Select Advisory Firm (or Business Representatives) from the drop-down menu

4. For an Advisory Firm, click on the View/maintain link alongside the firm’s name. For a Business Representative, click on the appropriate person’s name.

5. Then click the View/Maintain Mandates button

6. Scroll down to the Agriculture Census (Ags Census) mandate and click the Add button

7. You can add a date for when this mandate will expire, if you wish. Otherwise it will continue until you remove the mandate.

8. Click on Save
