Kirkwall & St Ola Town Hall, PUBLIC MEETING ON CROFTING LAW CONSULTATION

THE SCOTTISH GOVERNMENT hereby give notice that they have arranged a public meeting at Kirkwall & St Ola Town Hall on Tuesday 26 September 2017 relating to the consultation on the future of crofting law from 19:30 - 21:00.

Doors will open at approximately 19:00.

Scottish Government officials will deliver a presentation on the purpose of the consultation, an explanation of the options for changing legislation and guidance on the methods to respond to the consultation.

There will be the opportunity to discuss the options available and to raise questions relating to the consultation.

This is a free event, tea and coffee will be made available.

A limited number of paper copies of the consultation will be available on the night and additional copies can be sent on if required.

The consultation can be completed and related documents can be viewed on the Citizen Space website at https://consult.scotland.gov.uk/ using the search term “crofting”.
