Rural Payments and Services

All carbon audits, soil analysis and/ or animal health and welfare (AHW) claims for the scheme year 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2023 must be submitted by midnight on Thursday 29 February.

Please ensure all supporting information is accurate and business details, including the business reference number (BRN) on the expert advisor form (AHW), are entered correctly and the date the intervention is completed must match what is captured on the EA form.

To complete your claims:

• select the “Start your claim” button on the PSF guidance page
• enter your login details
• select either carbon audit, soil analysis or animal health and welfare
  • an advisory note will inform you if you have already submitted a claim for this option within this claim period
• select the “not started” option on the progress screen and follow the instructions, answering the questions and supplying supporting documents when required
• accept the terms and conditions and complete the declaration page
• a claim ID will be displayed and a confirmation email sent to your registered email address
