  • By default both the Aerial Photography and Base Layer (Ordnance Survey) are turned off. To turn on the different background layers, follow the instructions in The Data Tab (GIS Layers).

  • Bespoke View shows you how to create a bespoke map where you can add and view your parcels.

  • Accessing the Graphical Editor shows you how to export a map of your location code as a PDF for printing. The file generated will contain an overview map of all your land parcels with a map index overlaid. The map index refers to more detailed map(s) with land parcels identified by yellow boundaries on a standard aerial photography background. BPS ineligible areas will also be shown in red on the more detailed maps.
  • Bespoke View shows you how to create your own bespoke map and then export your map as a PDF for printing.
  • You can also use the Print button to create and export a PDF copy of your current view in the LPIS Viewer.

A shapefile is a geospatial vector data format for geographic information system (GIS) software. The file can be used to upload your land parcel information into third party software.
