Rural Payments and Services

The Rural Payments and Services (RP&S) website will be closed to allow essential maintenance to be carried out over the festive period.

The site will be unavailable to access from 5pm on Thursday 21 December 2023 to Thursday 4 January 2024. Preparing for Sustainable Farming (PSF) Applications, AgriCensus, Land Parcel Identification System (LPIS) viewer, HMU-Online and Community Right to Buy (CRtB) will also not be available during this time.

As a result of this, Preparing for Sustainable Farming (PSF) and Scottish Suckler Beef Support Scheme (SSBSS) applications cannot be completed online.

The closure of the website will have no impact on payment timetables. The internal RP&S system will remain operational and staff will be able to continue to process work as usual.

Due to a wide range of complexities to consider when undertaking essential maintenance, it is difficult to find a time that is suitable for all schemes and grants. Substantial consideration was taken when proposing this time frame and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Scottish Suckler Beef Support Scheme

The claim submission period for the Scottish Suckler Beef Support Scheme (SSBSS) 2023 is due to close on 31 December 2023. Due to the maintenance work we will accept SSBSS 2023 claims up to midnight Sunday 14 January 2024.
