SAF final weekend out of hours service

Reminder that the 16 May deadline to submit SAF applications without penalties is approaching, and that outside-of-hours IT support will be available from this weekend, until the midnight deadline on 16 May. Agents will be aware that they are able to further amend applications submitted by the deadline, to add to or increase their claims, up until 31 May without penalty.

If you experience IT issues with ruralpayments.org, please contact your local Area Office within normal working hours. Outside office hours, our IT service desk is available to help you resolve any IT related issues such as:

  • Issues affecting browsers
  • Issues accessing RP&S
  • Unlocking and resetting user accounts

You can contact the service desk between:

  • Friday 13th 1630 – midnight
  • Saturday 14th 0900 – 1700
  • Sunday 15th 0900 – 1700
  • Monday 16th 1700 – midnight

You can contact the IT service desk by either email or phone:

  • AREISDServiceDesk@gov.scot
  • 07779 981350

The service desk cannot provide guidance to help you submit your SAF. If you have a question in relation to SAF, contact your local Area Office during office hours.

We encourage you to submit your SAF as early as possible, and check your draft applications to ensure your SAF has been submitted.

You can check the status of any SAFs you are submitting online by logging into your account on Rural Payments and Services and selecting the business you want to check. Then select the Application tab which will allow you to check your SAF status.

Self-service laptops and bookings for one-to-one support are still available in area offices this week to complete your SAF online by 16 May. Please contact your local area office for availability.
