Workarounds for SAF 17 Application Submissions

Adding seasonal land to your SAF:

Please be aware that some users have experienced an issue on the Rural Payments and Services system with adding seasonal land for the online Single Application Form 2017, for which steps can be taken in response. When using the ‘add land’ function the land is automatically being populated as permanent rather than seasonal. This will allow the land to be included in the application. We will sort this issue out when processing SAFs, so please assure customers that it will have no bearing on applications.

Error message regarding land parcels:

Depending on individual users’ circumstances, some customers may have issues with the system regarding land parcels. They may receive an error message saying ‘This land parcel is out of date and must be excluded from your application’. This happens when an old version of the LPID is pre-populated but a newer version exists before the claim is submitted. Customers can justify this error so please ensure they claim the correct areas against the LPID (taking into account any changes) and then select one of the justification reasons.
