Your payment – for the Basic Payment Scheme, including Greening and Young Farmer payments – will be based on the value of the new entitlements which are being calculated and issued.

Before you receive your first payments instalment, we will send you a notification of payment letter, telling you:

  • how much we are paying you
  • the currency we are paying you in (euros or sterling – as requested by you)
  • any deductions we are making (because of any reductions, penalties or exclusions that we tell you about)
  • the schemes you are being paid under
  • the sum still owed to you

Before you receive your second instalment, we will send you another notification letter, telling you:

  • how much we are paying you

  • any deductions we are making (because of any reductions, penalties or exclusions that we tell you about)
  • the schemes you are being paid under

Our aim is to make as many first instalment payments as we can by the end of March, and the balance of payments soon after.

Staff will answer any questions about the letters we will be issuing over the next few months, general queries about new entitlements, and questions about payments for the 2015 scheme year (for the Basic Payment Scheme).

Lines are open from 8.30am to 5pm on Monday to Thursday and from 8.30am to 4.30pm on a Friday.
