The majority of Cross Compliance requirements continue to apply as they did in 2016.
There are however some changes to SMR 7 – Cattle Identification and registration, as summarised below.
- removal of passport requirements: ‘You must produce a signed and valid passport for every animal in your care on request’ and ‘You must not alter or deface a cattle passport’
- addition of ScotMoves notifications
- update to timescales for recording movements in your herd register
