Secondary Sign

This is for the installation of a timber sign for use within sites or at secondary entrances. It should have a painted background with routed and painted lettering.

Your Woods In and Around Towns Operational Plan map must clearly identify where the secondary sign will be located. The sign design must be agreed with Forestry Commission Scotland prior to production.

Secondary sign:

  • constructed from finished and treated wooden components and assembled using galvanised fixings
  • minimum size 1500 millimetres wide
  • comprising 2400x100x75 millimetre posts and a single or combination of boards to a total height of 410 millimetres
  • boards to be 27 millimetres thick
