Cross Compliance – changes to Good Agricultural and Environmental Conditions (GAEC) 1 and 7
The GAEC 1 rules have changed to include additional exemptions to the ban on cultivations within two metres of the top of the bank of surface water.
Buffer strips along watercourses (GAEC 1)
The GAEC 7 rules have changed to include additional exemptions to the ban on cultivations and the application of fertilisers and pesticides to land within two metres of the centre line of a hedge.
