Fingerpost

This item is for the installation of a wooden finger post to indicate a path route and / or destination.

Your Woods In and Around Towns Operational Plan map must clearly identify where the fingerpost will be located.

Fingerpost:

  • constructed from finished and treated components and assembled using galvanised fixings
  • 100 millimetre square wooden post 3.0 to 3.65 metres tall
  • minimum insertion into ground 800 millimetres, set into concrete
  • you can have up to four wooden fingers routed and painted to show destination or route name, as agreed with Forestry Commission Scotland
