Environmental Impact Assessment register
What is the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) register?
The EIA register for The Agriculture, Land Drainage and Irrigation Projects (Environmental Impact Assessment) (Scotland) Regulations 2017 shows information about decisions that we make during the EIA process.
How the register works
The register shows details of individual cases at 3 possible stages:
1. Opinion
We decide whether you must apply for consent. If consent is needed and the applicant seeks consent, then details of 2 more stages will be shown.
2. Scoping
A scoping meeting is held to help decide the issues that must be covered in the EIA report.
3. Determination
We decide whether to give consent for the project after getting the EIA report.
